Introduction
When man invented internet, they didn't know it was going to be the best source of information sharing. Today internet has become a necessity. Everyone has an email address which is more valuable than his telephone number. Everyone is connected via @ symbol.

In such a world, Nepal is still lagging behind in some aspects - particularly in sharing information. We can find thousands of internet forum and portals - but very few of them is for Nepal, and even less for Dentists in Nepal. While searching for such portals and not finding any, Dr. Prabigya Shiwakoti came across the idea of creating one herself. A young dentist who completed her Dentistry from Dhaka University, Bangladesh discussed the idea with few senior dentists and started on her path to Datiwon.Org. She came in contact with Cell-a, who took charge of the technical aspects of Datiwon.Org under Dr.Prabigya's guidance.

Datiwon grew in a very slow pace as the website materialized and is in the state as you all can see. This has not been an effort of a single person but an encouragement from fellow professionals and support they have shown by contributing articles and suggestions. We hope to make a difference and lead Dental profession in Nepal to the new horizon. we hope to educate the general people about dental hygiene. We hope to bring in the trend of sharing information among the professionals to uplift the profession. We hope to inform everyone of the recent happening in the field. We hope to get your support in doing so - we hope to grow with you to grow the Profession and Oral Health Awareness.
